We would greatly appreciate it if you could tell us a little about your company

Black Women That Rock, Inc. is a charity non-profit organization. Our mission is selfless service, we join hands and partner with a variety of organizations in support of our community. We are a Sisterhood that embodies sisterly friendships and sisterly conversations. We empower women and our youth to live a life that matters by making extraordinary strides to accomplish their goals in life.

What was your child hood aspirations?

I am just a girl from the hood that always wanted better. Believed that I would not become a product of my environment. “She believed she could, so she did” ~R.S. Grey

Can you give our readers a quick answer on business advice?

There is so much that I have learned the good, the bad, and the ugly. Do what speaks to your heart and when things begin to fall apart and they will, just remember your “Why”, rekindle/revisit with your “Why”. Be very careful who you share your vision with.

What was your toughest challenge?

My toughest challenge was when I moved to Arizona eleven (11) years ago, this was such a culture shock. I was trying to figure out what was my purpose of living here in a place that I did not know a soul.
