Former MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry has joined the BET network as a special correspondent. Deadline.com. Harris-Perry will host various BET news projects/programs as well as create long form news content for the network. Harris-Perry will cohost election coverage with BET correspondent Marc Lemon Hill. Harris-Perry parted ways with MSNBC back in March after denouncing differences with the network due to issues with election coverage.
